Shipping

How does Cataclistum ship its orders?

All orders are shipped from our studio in Edinburgh (UK). Please note that our products cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.International orders are shipped via one of our delivery partners on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. As such, customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes incurred from purchasing goods internationally. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly by the delivery partner.

In accordance with international laws regulating commerce and trade of imports and exports, all orders shipped out of the UK include an official invoice declaring the value of the products purchased in British Pounds.

What are the costs of shipping?

You will be provided with estimated shipping costs once you place your order.

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

You can find an estimate of the production times on each of our product pages. Although we aim to ship each order within 6 to 8 weeks, the timescales can vary based on the process required to create each product and our production pipeline at that time. We will confirm the expected shipping timescales with you once your order has been placed.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is placed, you will receive an email confirmation. We will also continually update you on your order’s progress via email once each production state is completed.

What if something happens to my order in transit?

All of our parcels are tracked and insured. We will investigate any issues and work with our courier company to resolve them as soon as possible.

Returns

How do I initiate a return?

Please contact orders@cataclistum.co.uk to initiate a return.

To be eligible for a return:
• you must provide proof of purchase
• your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it
• your item must be in the original packaging with the wrappings still intact

Our team will inspect each returned item. If a product does not meet the return policy requirements stated above, the refund will be either refused or partially processed. We will communicate the return process with you via e-mail.All approved refunds will be processed in GBP and through the same payment method used for purchase. Please note that the online payment provider fee and shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

Could I return a product from your collection?

If you are not completely satisfied with your product, simply return the products in your order unused and in all of the original unbroken packaging within 14 days of receipt for a refund. We do not cover the cost of return shipments and we do not assume responsibility for returning packages while in transit. To minimise the risk of your package being lost, we recommend that you consider insuring your parcel.

Could I return a bespoke product?

If you purchased a tailored product, the piece will be bespoke tailored to your specific measurements. Due to the nature of bespoke products, the sale is final and we are unable to accept returns or offer a refund.

If there are any issues with your order, or if your piece requires adjustment, we are happy to offer a final alteration if you send your piece back to us so that we can carry out the modifications. These changes might be chargeable; this will be clearly communicated to you before you return the product to us. Please note that we do not cover the cost of return shipments and we do not assume responsibility for returning packages while in transit. To minimise the risk of your package being lost, we recommend that you consider insuring your parcel.
