Named after the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs and Industriels Modernes held in 1925, the birthplace of the Art Deco movement.
This piece was heavily inspired by artists and designers like René Lalique, Eileen Gray, William Van Alen, Jean Després and of course Edgar Brandt and his folding screen L’Oasis.
‘Paris 1925’ comes with one of two variations of our signature centrepiece - a cast brushed brass or patinated bronze. The piece was designed in-house and cast by our partners in London. The design is our interpretation of the quintessential ‘Art Deco fan’ often seen in architecture and sculptures from that era.
Accompanying the Nexus is a 100% silk fabric, woven in Sudbury, the silk capital of England. Our own design, depicting elements of an exotic garden, is an interpretation of L’Oasis from Edgar Brandt. We used the finest dark brown and blue silk threads to weave a stunning satin fabric with an unparalleled sheen.
All of our neckties are handcrafted using the best French silk threads and organic Italian wool interlining. Each tie is tailored to your measurements for the perfect fit.
Meticulously designed and painstakingly constructed, each design is limited to 7 pieces. Each piece is tailor-made to order and individually numbered.
